Went into this listening to new Kendrick, came out with Popular stuck in my head...

I knew nothing about the Land of Oz, honestly not a single story or a character except that the Wizard of Oz exists. I haven't seen any movies related to it. That probably really added to my experience, just made me very invested.

Cynthia Erivo was great but I didn't expect Ariana Grande to eat it up like that. Every single scene she stole imo. This movie is just fun and the length is not really an issue.

The songs are so good too. I have to say Michelle Yeon and Jeff Goldblum being in this made me so worried because usually I can't really stand just one of them but here they shared the scenes but for some reason neither were as obnoxious as usually.

This shit is just fun, I kind of want to watch it again. I get all the negatives, and I even agree with them but Popular is still stuck in my head so.
