Hmmm this was a weird one. I feel like the last major plot point was the most interesting thing in the movie, everything before was just retooled scenes from the original.

I wish we saw a more three dimensional version of Nola but the parts we got to see were fantastic. This film is so beautifully shot and the writing still feels fresh. I wish some topics were handled with a bit more care, but overall it’s so clear that Spike Lee had a vision and he created something so unique.
