“Miles, the hardest thing about this job is you can’t always save everybody.”

I knew I had to rewatch this masterpiece in preparation for Across the Spider-Verse. I mean, what do I even need to say about this film that hasn't already been said by this point? I know not everyone agrees, but for me, this is not only the best Spider-Man movie, but also the best animated movie ever made. And quite simply just one of the greatest movies ever made. I still am blown away by this film every single time I watch it. It's also a film that I continue to notice more little details from each time too. It's just a gift that keeps on giving. I know I already said this in my last review for this movie, but the leap of faith scene is one of the greatest scenes in a comic book movie. I seriously do not know if Across the Spider-Verse could top this film, but never say never. Judging by all of the praise I've heard for it so far though, it sure looks like I'm gonna adore it too. Boy am I beyond hyped to see it.

That being said, I do have an announcement to make. I am planning on seeing Across the Spider-Verse tomorrow. But after that, I am going to be on vacation for about a week and a half, which most likely means I won't have as much time to watch as many movies. I will still watch some when I can, but even if I do, I most likely won't review them unless it's a short review. So just keep that in mind. I do want to do a longer review for Across the Spider-Verse, but there is a good chance that I probably won't have time to before I leave, which does unfortunately mean that I may not be able to do it until I'm back from my vacation. Though if I do have extra time at some point during my trip, maybe I'll try to get my review out. Whatever the case is though, I will get it done as soon as I can. And once I am back from my vacation, I will be back to doing normal reviews again. But I just thought I would mention that to y'all. Hope you guys are doing well.
