• Salem's Lot

    Salem's Lot

    ★★

Not the worst Stephen King adaptation I've seen but it wasn't good. Extremely bland after the first 20 minutes and honestly kind of a bummer as it's a Top 10 King story for me. I think that most King stories should be limited series the very least. His stories go so in depth that it's very difficult to squeeze into a couple hours.

I'm just a sucker for this shit. Not laugh out loud funny throughout but a couple parts get me. Just a comfort type of film for me.

  • Christmas with the Kranks

    Christmas with the Kranks

    ★★★½

This has always been a film I was okay with but my wife really likes it so now I kind of love it. It's definitely ridiculous and has some not so great parts but overall it's a lot of fun and the end is great. I know a lot of people can't stomach this and I can see why but it works for me more than it doesn't.

  • Joker: Folie à Deux

    Joker: Folie à Deux

    ★★½

I really enjoyed this until I didn't. Really liked the first 45 minutes and I was wondering why people hated this. I still didn't find it worthy of the hate but it drags substantially during the trial. I actually thought the ending was kind of perfect. Doubt I'll revisit but it's a perfectly okay film.

  • Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith

    ★★★★

Good definitely outweighs the bad here with a ton of cool shit and iconic moments. But holy shit the script was just so bad. Dialogue be damned I guess. I think this was the one that I saw at a midnight release that had a guy on a breathing machine come in that sounded like Darth Vader that had me cackling but it could have been the first one. Either way, I still like more than I dislike here.

Dobby got me again. Can't not cry. Gonna try to flush myself down the toilet instead of drive the 40 minutes to work tonight.

  • Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

At one point in time this was my favorite and I maintain this has some of the best moments in the series. No longer my favorite but still very good.

  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I think this would be higher for me if Umbridge wasn't so aggravating. The actress was incredible obviously but it was too good because I struggle through stretches of this.

  • Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones

Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones

    ★★½

As absolute dog water as this script is, this film still has some undeniably cool shit as well as some important plot points. Easily the worst Star Wars film that I've seen but still has enough that I won't skip it ever when doing a rewatch.

  • Smile 2

    Smile 2

    ★★★½

Pretty much on par with the original. This was way too long. The lead performance was awesome. Felt like they added some things that didn't make sense in this for the longest time and then I guess at the end it made it all make sense. I'd have to give this a rewatch because I do feel like I missed something. It was fun though.

All time punted ending. Really cool premise and had a lot going for it with the twists and turns and then just fumbled the bag. Disappointed.

Still probably my least favorite which still isn't saying much. Shoutout to Mr Diggory making me cry this time though.
