Wow - weird! Legitimately weird. I liked it.

Moving on - Very vibey movie. I would like all of Dan Stevens' outfits in my closet, stat. The 35mm looks real good, fun score, great red/green colour palette, and there's an uncanny valley creature-situation. Thought all the pulsating throat imagery was pretty creepy, too.

Okay guys, I dunno, I heard a couple audience grumblies after this one but I liked it (shocker). It's very different from Bait, and has a comparably beautiful look and scrappy feel. Throughout, I was reminded of Robin Redbreast, Anchoress, John Smith's The Black Tower, The Quatermass Xperiment, and as others have noted, Don't Look Now. Then that's all woven together with some extemely M.R. Jamesian foreboding vibes.
