I do think this is the best Spider-Man movie, and honestly by a fairly decent margin. One of the best superhero films as well. We've seen so many origin stories for the character of Spider-Man by this point. We get a lot of those same tropes here, but the film benefits from being very self aware of that and turning much of that into some solid jokes and humor.
They nail all of the emotional beats, the animation style and incorporation of some comic book style is incredibly fresh and looks fantastic, and overall it's just an incredibly well made film. Looking forward to seeing the new one tonight.
