Conclave is a very interesting movie. Ralph Fiennes gives a mesmerizing, nuanced performance in the lead, and the rest of the cast is incredible as well. The cinematography is gorgeous and the score is powerful. The premise creates a unique setting for a political thriller, but a few plot points were rather predictable. The third act is questionable, as the ending doesn’t quite feel like it fits the movie, but other than that this is a great film.
