When this movie got announced for the first time, I had good expectations for this film, I’m a big fan of animated robot films, and we haven’t gotten one from Dreamworks, so this helped on my interest of course, the the trailer got released and and my expectations were freaking high, the moment I saw the animation being a follow up from Last Wish gave me hype, and the trailer itself was amazing, being fully silent expect for the song and the end, it felt mature and less bombastic.
I have been a Wild Robot believer since day one, I knew it was going to be great, enes with all adversities, I knew this movie will triumphs as one of the best animated films of the year, and I was goddamn right.
Animation 10/10, as expected, it hit on the emotional aspect hard as fuck, might be Dreamworks most emotional film for the moment, it presents great themes and they’re executed beautifully, it plays with it themes very well and there some good environment storytelling that doesn’t take scenes to explain all out, there just there, only with its visual and it makes it easy to understand, “show don’t tell” is a tool used incredibly well in here. And I gotta mention it, the Latin Spanish dub is amazing here, everyone involved on the dub did great, although I’m not a big fan of how the song sounded, maybe is only on Latin Spanish, and English sound better.
The characters are great, but Roz, Fink and Brightball are genuinely some of the best of Dreamworks, they’re relationship was everything here, the story, the emotional strikes of the film, and the narrative themes were all sustained thanks by these three characters, our boy Sanders cooked like he has never before.
If this film ever gets any sequel, I beg them to please keep the spirit, the emotion and the whole experience of this one for consideration in the future, the world need more films like this.

Mark my words for the future, if I rewatch this for at least three of four times, I’ll give it a 10/10.
