GIVE PAUL MESCAL HIS OSCAR NOW.
The performances from Paul, Denzel, Pedro, Connie, Joe, Fred…. every single person who was in the cast, including the extras BROUGHT IT. The visuals, the sets, the costumes were phenomenal. I understand some of the negative reviews, because I can see little issues within the writing. While watching I found myself teary eyed feeling happy/proud of Paul’s performance, from watching NP in 2020 and following his career, he really showed his talent and dedication…

A disgusting, chaotic, nasty, and an insane ride. It was the ‘Requiem For A Dream’ dread at the core of this film that I loved.

I would have rather watched a copy/paste version of the 1994 film than this. I think Bill was the correct casting for Eric Draven - but everything from the storyline, the writing, the costumes, makeup and other casting choices was garbage. I wish people that appreciated the novel, the original film and the LEGACY of Brandon Lee, would’ve been apart of this film to save it from the awfulness of this movie.

I have an interesting relationship with my father, this film unlocked a lot of emotions I wasn’t able to put into words, it allowed me to have deeper and meaningful conversations with my dad, and allowed me to see that, without him, I wouldn’t be who I am, and all he’s been through while giving me my best life, and everything he’s taught me will never go to waste. this film also reminded me that he won’t always be around…and that reminder crushes me every time.
