lots of pills, coloured lights, vlogging, sex clubs, a gas mask, blindfolds, latex, arthouse sex tapes, toe sucking, voyeurism, overdose, murder, suicide, CRTs, floral print bedding, somnophilia, magenta, philosophizing, reflections, ...
satô creates another masterpiece, with stellar editing/sound mixing, in particular the use of distorted ambient sound.
oh and i've had a prescription for halcion / triazolam (the medication featured in the film) and it really does feel like that

yeah none of you were exaggerating about how awful this movie is! it's structured horribly with shitty filters, poor lighting & audio, and horrible cgi blood. i love amateur acting, hangout scenes in horror films, and generally movies where not a lot happens but this just wasn't it. brad sykes' original trilogy seems like an amazing feat of low budget slasher cinema comparatively! the highlights here are the cat, the vhs collection, & shots of girls…

i don't have a ton to say about this one as it's very straight-forward compared to a lot of w.a.v.e. fare, though the way tina & debbie play off of one another is pure magic, allowing doublecross to become something noteworthy. their chemistry is some of my favourite and this reminds me of why i adore chaos.tv so much :')
here, i'm especially fond of debbie as the step-mom who wants a cut of the $200,000 that tina's character wants to scam out…
