Right so I know a ton of people hold this as the best Spiderman movie and I can see why and while I did like it a lot there are certain flaws that I personally could not overlook. Starting with good ,I have to say this is a great story of becoming and I think Miles is very relatable and well written as a chatacter. Animation can be a great medium for comic book movies and despite being animated almost every character feels like a real person. There are strong emotional moments and motivation of every character is clear. Visualy this movie is very impressive and perfectly translates comic book pages to the screen. And this is where my problems start. While this type of movie should be vibrant and colorful ,this one can be too colorful at times to the point where my senses felt assaulted multiple times. Multiverse is a concept that I liked in this movie I think it was done right and if they kept just fat Peter and Spider Gwen I wouldn't have a problem with ,but they had to add Spider Pig ,Noir Spiderman and Anime Spider-girl... I could not take any of them seriously and while one can agrue that they aren't meant to be taken that way ,I thought that rest of this movie had a serious emotional intention behind it so stuff like this and some sitcom level humor were really undercutting some important moments for me. Overall I count this movie as a win for Spiderman franchise ,just not the best one within it.
