First time seeing this on 35mm.

Many before me have noted that Bond doesn't actually do much in this one ("Except rape that lady!" points out my girlfriend), but while the script is generally expository stalling the whole thing burns style like rocket fuel. This franchise can do (and has done) far worse than such an iconic delivery device for the combined efforts of John Barry and Ken Adam, although despite having seen this dozens of times I still fail to understand its popularity above FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE or the far more outlandishly exciting and technically accomplished YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE.
