I have recently saw Beetlejuice Beetlejuice early and it’s about the Deetz Family 30+ years later as they encountered Beetlejuice once more.
Previously debuted at the Venice Film Festival with some critics and moviegoers calling it Tim Burton best film in over 10 years, will this film revive his legacy, well here is the verdict.
Even though this is no where near Tim Burton’s prime, I think this is a solid follow up to Beetlejuice. A lot of old and new cast including Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega who is now leads of their film and they definitely do have a lot to do as well as some surprises and references the fans will love.
I do have my issues and I feel this was a bit convoluted it’s storylines and wished it was a bit clearer it’s narrative but I really think the movie has more positives than negatives.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a visual effects extravaganza that is easily the best directed film Tim Burton has done since Sweeney Todd with a compelling performance once again by Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice that will be welcoming with it having the heart and the magic that is fitting this Halloween season.
