this was so much fun! i was invested the whole runtime! yeah i thought some of it felt goofy at times, but the storyline was an interesting sequel to the original story with great new characters! i honestly loved all the performances and thought they all did pretty good! with denzel outshining everyone of course, i definetly understand why they chose paul and thought he did really good but there were also times i found myself just giggling at him but that might just be me

yeah, wow!!! i get it now and will definitely be holding space for defying gravity from now on
was absolutely gagged by all the performances and think the casting was honestly perfect after watching! both ariana and cynthia were so graceful and stunning and they just ate up every song they did and jonathan bailey?? he is absolutely everything
the final act was truly phenomenal and i will not be able to stop thinking about it anytime soon! bravo! cant wait for part two of this

saw this a few days ago and still cant really tell how i feel about it.. like it wasnt bad but it wasnt great either
hughs character was just some asshole and the ending had me like ??? okay??? dont think im a fan at this moment but i might need a rewatch

this sequel had such a jump in quality from the first imo like it honestly could have stood on its own as the first film, the scares were good, the story and pacing had me on the edge of my seat, the shots and music were awesome! i do have my critiques though, like this story is super close to truth or dare and the ending man.. like i assumed the were going to do that but the final act really had me hoping for the best😭

the problems got solved pretty quick right at the end which i was just like oh! but it was still a ton of fun
also justin theroux was such a fun surprise because i thought his character was so funny🤣

fede alvarez brought such a great vision to already such a great and scary franchise! cailee and david are amazing main stars to this new addition of the franchise but… what happened with the other girl at the end i felt like i was left hanging there😭
