From a movie with a trailer about a guy I never heard of that I thought was totally random and saw no point in became one of my fav flicks of the year.

The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. The best type of hypnosis. The most simplistic yet complicated way of explaining the evolution of man and life.
As I get older, this movie hits a little more closer to home. Mankind really is in this never-ending loop of damning itself no matter how unique our creations are.
Beyond that,the visuals along with the incredible score is a combo that only few films match up with so perfectly. I could watch this on mute or listen to it blind anytime.

Fuck Hurricane Helene and Milton for taking away the only time I would of had to see this in theaters. This is incredible from the acting to the makeup design.

Despite this being the notorious movie month of January this was shockingly poor. So many stretched out scenes of long staring and walking with bland acting and meh scares.
The bar for 2025 can’t get higher!!!!!

A few dated cliches but still a horrifying premise and setting. The repeating noise the record player plays is the stuff of nightmares.

This and the 2019 remake are each directed by different, unique, creative directors and yet both feel directed the exact same.
Lion King musical score will forever be goated tho.

I was ready to love this, thinking it would be an easy top 5 of the year for me. While there are parts of greatness throughout and visuals that are stunning, this is not my fav Robert Eggers flick.
