Had to start the year off right! This really is a perfect movie and it never fails to give me an excessive dose of serotonin. It’s vibrant, charming and utterly magical. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are just so perfect together and their chemistry really makes the movie!!! And all those scenes in the deepest of blues and purple (plus the scene on the pier!!!) are some of my absolute favorites! Plus the theme of never giving up on your dreams is something particularly important to me and I’m so glad to have this film as a reminder of that!
Here’s hoping my year can be as whimsical and magical as this movie is 🥺
