I admit that it’s charming that the internet used their powers for good and that is memeing Nic Cage into finally getting his dream role and he is having the time of his life in this movie, unfortunately it came at a time where studio comedies bright idea is completely basing themselves in self-aware humor (less than 10 minutes in there’s a “well that just happened” joke). I do appreciate Universal for actually doing interesting projects with their monster movies giving Invisible Man to Blumhouse and this to Skybound and I didn’t expect them to make a comedy out of Dracula, wish they decided to make a good one. But if you want nic cage in a better Dracula movie just watch Vampire’s Kiss or Bad Lieutenant: POCNO.
