I’m all about the burgeoning gen z horror movement that is influenced by Cronenberg and Lynch and looks like how 00’s twee pop sounds. And I’m not being tongue in cheek about that, not even a little bit. I’m stoked, I love this stuff, give me more. On that note, if you have any recs in this vein, gimme, please.

If you just fell in love with a Grease/Mad Max/Streets of Fire hybrid 80’s action-horror movie that features Ned Manning playing a 36 year old teenager named Crabs in a dystopian 2000’s Australia who gets stranded at a drive-in he can never leave simply because the tires from his car were stolen, so he and his girlfriend have to stay and drink milkshakes and listen to synth-pop and stand up to the cops and bowtie and mullet wearing white nationalists fighting to be king of the shit heap, raise your hand 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️
In case it isn’t clear, that’s both hands up for this one.
