Only a few people know but October is a very special month for me but also a difficult one.
And I have been debating if I should post or not.
I know some of you all might know what it’s like, and I can’t believe I’m going to post this, but I know it could help someone else out here too and my mom would have loved for me to do so. Over three years ago 2021, my mom died unexpectedly and it’s been a struggle everyday to be the same person I was when she was alive. So i decided at the end of 2021 to watch a new movie (to me) everyday and did it in 2022 and continued into 2023 until the writer strike happened as this would have been something we would have done together. My mom favorite holiday was and still is Halloween and every year since she has been gone, I have watched a new horror film everyday (besides when the writer strike, I rewatch her favorites) I know this a lot and here I am posting it anyway. This is why I watch a film everyday, if not, well it wouldn’t be a good day for me.
Most of October will be horror films with other genre being thrown in. So I have a new list to check out, if you want to. Pretty much every October will be like this. Thanks for reading my long post. As my mom would say ‘being kind doesn’t cost a thing’
