This movie is a perfect example of being confused about the role you have to fulfill and what you want to be. Not that it is philosophical, unfortunately the total opposite. The idea for the story was amazing, but the execution certainly did not manage to handle the concept.
Despite its superficiality bordering on ignorance, watching it was really enjoyable: the first half has an amazing ambience, and the second contains a couple of quite entertaining action sequences.

My perception of this movie is oscillating somewhere between boredom and a tastefully slow narrative… And you know what? I do not think I have to choose any of those two options, because this film did both - it was beautiful and simultaneously a perfect movie to fall asleep to. You cannot blame me.
Important topics are presented, but not discussed and for sure not explored in more depth. I would even say that this is a forgettable story, but the ending made me feel a thing or two.

Those 3.5 hours in the cinema were imperceptible, especially compared to the amount of the story, detail and solicitude presented in the movie. The first half feels a little bit like a slow paced dream, meanwhile the second part is gaining momentum and gripping our attention with greater dynamics - both segments are constituting an incredibly well thought out and coherent whole.
