Firstly, wow.
This film was so much more than I had expected, and I expected a lot. Cillian Murphy's performance was so intensely impactful along with many others in the star-studded cast. Emily Blunt's character was also a standout for me, particularly THAT scene.
Nolan knows how to not only direct a film but how to write one. The final scene with Einstein was so masterfully written and poetic. Furthermore, the direction and cinematography are absolutely breath-taking and within the first 15 minutes I knew this had to be a five star film.
Goransson score was a particular standout in this film to me and it has already become one I have listened to again. Additionally, the sound is impeccable with silence filling a shot perfectly.
Oppenheimer is certainly a must watch for all cinephiles and I am so pleased it exceeded my expectations,
