The perfect watch party film. The editing is crap and it’s shot in such a 90s way with mad angles and chaotic scenes, which just adds to the charm. The dialogue is easily the best part, so fantastically cheesy and over the top, Nic Cage’s lines are sensationally bad and amazing at the same time. It’s not a polished film at all, but it’s self awareness and sense of humour easily makes up for it. The action scenes are so great to watch, with badass explosions and the such, but the character interactions are almost better, just because of the absurdity of them.
