    i LOVED this when i was younger but unfortunately i genuinely think the reason i didn’t enjoy it so much during this watch is because of the editing 😭😭

    they didn’t manage to properly transition to the next scene well at all and it definitely cost my viewing experience. there was a lot of repetition of music as well which was annoying. istg if i hear THIS IS THE START OF SOMETHING NEW i will kill myself without hesitation.

    absolutely soulless. rupert sanders only took his research of snow white so far as the disney adaptation, and in turn, cooked the most seasonless chicken of a fantasy film i have ever seen.

    despite some questionable editing decisions and story decisions, THIS HITS SO HARD!!!! it managed to be js so bad that it was good but also like simultaneously underrated as fuck.

    making queen elspeth become ugly in the end was peak, because considering her morals and her thought process, this life would be worse than the death she usually gets in snow white adaptations. i also liked how the dwarves weren’t treated like children n the themes of how beauty is on…
