One of the better Hollywood animated films released in a long while. Great vocal performances from Lupita, Pedro, Kit Connor (sorta; he sounded a bit too reedy IMO). Light-hearted and juvenile of course, but rich with mature, well-put themes. It didn't need to be a critique of unchecked industrialization and AI ethics, we have countless past robot media AND real life circumstances for that. It's enough that this was just a heart-warming robot found-family film and an ode to love and community rising over our petty differences. Really fucking adorable. Something for both the kids and parents!!!
