Scoop Up the Fresh Churns of Bel Air at Beach House Creamery

An ice cream shop inspired by Venice Beach Summers has opened its doors.

Beach House Creamery is a new California-inspired concept that will launch its first Los Angeles brick and mortar and ice cream truck today. The first storefront is located in Bel Air while a second shop will debut on Abbot Kinney in early March. Beach House Creamery specializes in all-natural, small batch ice cream and sorbets in simple and nostalgic varieties.

The creamery features flavors like Mint Chocolate Wave, Coconut Pipelime Sorbet, and Mandarin Sunset Sherbet. Cups and regular or gluten-free waffle cones made in-house will be offered and don't forget to add toppings like hot fudge, nut brittle caramel, and chocolate "ripcurls" (shaved chocolate curls). Additionally, the menu will consist of cream-based and vegan dreamsicles, milkshakes, sundaes, and "High Tides" affogatos made with Sightglass Coffee, with plans to expand and include more options in the future.

Beach House Creamery has a retro and nostalgic feel for ice cream fans of all ages. Its mission is to "handcraft the world's most delicious ice cream inspired by California dreams..." In addition, The Beach House Creamery truck will be on Abbot Kinney all weekend in front of the Beach House Brand, a boutique shop specializing in beach inspired apparel and accessories. The address is 1043 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
