Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo! (この素晴(すば)らしい世界(せかい)に爆焔(ばくえん)を！, An Explosion on This Wonderful World!) is a Japanese light novel series written by Akatsuki Natsume and illustrated by Mishima Kurone. It is a spinoff of Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! with Megumin being the protagonist.

A second series titled Zoku Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo! (続(ぞく)・この素晴(すば)らしい世界(せかい)に爆焔(ばくえん)を！) with the same author and illustrator was later released, in response to the reader popularity of Megumin.

The initial series has been published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko since June 2014 until May 2015.

The series has been adapted into a manga series illustrated by Morino Kasumi, with its serialization in Gekkan Comic Alive published from May 2016 to December 2017.

Anime[]

A 12 episode anime adaptation was produced by Studio Drive and directed by Kanasaki Takaomi, and aired in Japan from April to June 2023, covering the the first to third novels of the series.
