Recap[]

In June's room, June and Jody are doing preparation work for an upcoming science-fair project while Monroe sits by secretly sipping tea and listening in on their conversation. Jody is showing June her plan for their science-fair project together with Lila complete with a paper diorama showing plants growing better in different kinds of music. She points out that they have a ton of work to do if they want to get the project ready in time and June exclaims how that's great, asking where to start. Jody asks if she's positive and questions if it really is fine and brings up previous times when June had to leave all of a sudden. Jokingly, she starts to wonder if June has a secret life. June laughs it off as ridiculous and says they can just start now. Monroe whispers to Juniper that "She's onto us" and that they must wipe Jody's memory to keep the secret of magic safe. June stops him, saying she just wants to spend the day doing their science project in peace and relaxes into the bed. Her bracelet starts glowing and chiming aggressively, prompting both her and Monroe to look out the balcony doors and Monroe tells June that "You were just beggin' for it."

While June's bracelet is going off, the scene is taken to a dragon flying past June's balcony. We're shown that it flies to Skull Lake, where a piece of ground is glowing in blue. The dragon is shown to be hypnotized, and blows hot fire on the glowing spot, making it crack. After the smoke clears it starts to glow more. June excuses herself again and Jody is onto it, but June is luckily bailed out by Ray Ray with an excuse about Ah-Mah's toilet exploding. June makes a quick exit, asking Ray Ray to show Jody his "historical sculptures made our of ear-wax" and tells Jody that Lila is on her way there to help with the project while Jody eyes Ray Ray's sculpture uncomfortably.

With Lila and Ray Ray examining the "historical sculptures", Jody is walking around the room, examining June's bookcase shelves, her eye landing on "Magic Made Easy by I.M. Magic". While she is reading the book and scrunches her eyes with suspicion, June arrives back. Jody asks what the green stuff in her hair is. Grossed out, June comes up with an excuse about hair gel. Monroe meanwhile gets ready to erase Jody's memory again, but this time Ray Ray stops him. June comes up with the excuse that this is all Dennis' junk that she's just letting him keep there.

Dennis arrives and is hankered into June's new excuse by Ray Ray. Slow to catch on, Dennis suddenly joins in and confirms that the shelf stuff is indeed his, thanking June for letting him keep it there. He fumbles and makes the story flimsier, while accidentally dropping a a round ceramic flask, which releases a very loud ghost after breaking on the floor, leaving Monroe to grumble "There's 13 thousand years of history crammed right down the toilet...". While they're all laughing it away awkwardly, the fissure at Skull Lake keeps glowing in blue, and a prison orb bursts out it, landing as a blue-fire comet at Ah-Mah's house garden.

Ah-Mah is attacked by Auntie Roon and although she puts up a fight, she is no match for Roon's projectiles after being almost hit by the prison orb. In panic, June leaves immediately, leaving Jody to ask in even more surprise where she could be going. Dennis and Lila make up a flimsy excuse on the spot and leave in a hurry as well. Flabbergasted at the sudden events and lack of hospitality, Jody is left alone and in a slight shock, asking if she should let herself out.

At Ah--Mah's house, the garden is destroyed as several blasts smoke out of the ground and Ah-Mah continues to dodge the energy blasts, but her own attacks are unsuccessful. Roon reveals herself to June, riding on her flying fish. She explains she threw together a "quick invitation" and how she's glad June could "make it", blasting the younger Te Xuan Ze away through the ground. The others arrive there on bikes, with Monroe in disbelief over Roon being back this easily.

Juniper gets the upper hand on Auntie Roon, demanding to know if Roon really thought she'd get away with attacking her grandma. Roon answers calmly that she was actually hoping for Juniper to show up. She twists June's arm and springs a trap on her back, a blue disk which she shoots with her staff. As the others gather around Ah-Mah to help her, an explosion surrounds June, prompting them to run to her. Leaving a second crater in the ground, June simply stands at the center of it. Taken aback, she asks Ah-Mah what's going on and is transformed into a large monster.

Credits Clip[]

Ray Ray tells the others in the basement about how they should form their own evil-stopping group, like their own Mystery Team; they start talking about their recent success and Lila wonders what banishment means. Auntie Roon and her fish ended up banished to a cave where the biker demon Batoot poachers from Not in My Backyard had also been banished to.
