Hey Gang, 

Renee just got a home office.  She can now work comfortably from home.

Prior to this, she had just been working here and there from her laptop.

Testing it out, she is sitting there at her work desk.

She has a old fashion typewriter she sometimes uses.

Having her own space makes working from home easier.

She is having a cup of tea from her special tea service that she got especially for her office.

She has seating area for guest.

She was just about to have a cookie!

She wants to start a detective novel.  A kind of dark film noir kinda drama Her
main charater will be a women detective!  Dee LaRue!

She thinks her new office can be her inspiration!

Dee: Come in.

A tall, well dressed man enters the room.

The man: Hello

Dee: Hello. Please have a seat. How can I help you?

The man looks around as if he is looking for something.
Feeling a little uneasy, Dee slowly moves her hand to the

draw were the rest of the cookies and the gun are kept.

He sits.  The man: Where is the detective? Are youuu.. the detective?

A little miffed Dee snaps at him.
Dee: Yes, I am!

The man: ..but... you are a woman!

A little more miffed she say
Dee: WOW, your are quick! You must not need a detective.
The man looked stunned...then he recovered.
The man: I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything by it. I just...

haven't seen a woman detective before. My name is Cephus, Cephas Peters?

Dee: Cephas Peters hey? Look I don't have time for jokes!

Cephas: No, I'm not joking,that is really my name!

Dee: I thinks that your parents must have been mean because isn't Cephas another
name for Peter? That would make you Peter Peters!  I'm gona needs a cookie
to get though this! 

Dee: Ok... Mr. Peters, how can I help you?

Cephas: Well, it is my sister. Her name is Mimi. She is missing and I need to find her.  I need to know
if she is OK.

Dee: Ok, tell me a little about your sister and why you think she is missing.

My Second Purchase From China!

Hey Gang!

Here is my other purchase from China!  It is just an AA body without a head.
I purchased both of my items from China on Wish.  They sell a lot of things.
They also have special hourly sales.  I got the body for free! I just had to pay
shipping which is about $3.

Here is the Body!

The body does have the pivotal neck of a Barbie doll! It is more like ones of
cheaper dolls like Defa Lucy. So there will be no looking up or down for
whatever head you put on the body.

The good thing about the neck is that you don't have the difficulties of removing

and putting new heads on that you find in other bodies. No hooks!

The skin tone on this doll is lighter than the previous doll I purchased from china.

These bodies are similar to the barbie pivotal body.  So let's take a look!
Here is my Mattel pivotal body I have put on my Renee.
Here she is in comparison to my recent purchase.

 A close but still a tad

gray match.

The body is about the same size.  The quality of the body isn't nearly as
good as a Mattel doll but it isn't too bad either!

 As the complexion goes, this body is a closer Mattel match.  A close but still a tad
gray match to Artsy doll.

So let try some different heads on this body!

Sisters And Mother's Day!

I purchased a set dolls on ebay last week!  I have seem her on a few other
bloggers sites and wanted one of my own.  I don't remember seeing her
in the store but I haven't always been into Kelly sized dolls.

There were three of them but I think I will only need two.This is their sales
photo.  I added panties to the photo as not to shock anyone. LOL! 

I wanted to put one on a Kelly size body because I wanted one tall and one
smaller to make them sisters or maybe they will be twins.  This meant I only
needed two! The third is on its' way to Cat at A Doll Affinity.  I hope you like
her Cat.  She has very nice hair.

After purchasing her and looking at some of my other small dolls,
this post came to mind.

Dominique and Renee's mother died when they were in their teens.  Most of
their family pictures were distroyed in a flood but their church parish had
pictures of each child that attended bible school which started at age three!

So, here is Dominque and Renee looking at the only pictures of them
when they were little and remembering their mother who made sure they
went to church as they were growing up.  They will go to church on
Mother's Day and remember her.

Going To The Wedding.

The Johnsons & The Holmes' Are Going To The Wedding!

Etienne and Matt know Rod from military trainings they went to. 

They are coming to the wedding of Rod and Danielle and are bringing
their wives with them. Now that Matt is married, he thinks that everyone
should be married.  They couldn't make the bachelor party but they won't
miss the wedding!

The wives look forward to the ceremony like most women do.

Tia: This will be our first time out as a couple!

Tia: I can't wait to see her dress!

Renee: Your wedding dress was soo lovely! Your mantilla was
the crowning touch!

Tia: Thank you!  It has been in my family for generations. 
I hoping my sister will wear it too!
I can never thank you for all your help with my wedding!
I don’t know what would have happened if I didn’t have you to help
me with everything.

Renee’: We military wives have to stick together! 

Matt feels pride as he introduces his bride!  Matt: This is my wife Tia. 

Renee’: Look at them! Young love. How sweet. Etienne, do you

remember when we were like that!

Etienne: We can be like that tonight!

The Couples Together!

Renee': Military men can be a handful when they are out!   That is why
the job of MPs is soo hard!  Tonight, we'll have to be the MPs!

Like I said, the women like the ceremony and the husbands look
forward to the reception!

Renee': They are even worse at  Military fuctions!
