猪川郵便局は権現堂橋と三陸自動車道大船渡ICの中間にあり、近くには大船渡高校や大船渡地区合同庁舎等があります。国道45号線傍にあるので、入る事は簡単ですが、出る時は車の流れが頻繫なので困難な場合も多々見受けられます。国道45号線を挟みますと流れの穏やかな立根川が青葉の営みとともに下流に流れ出でています。
