The Slytherin Duelling Club Captain, as the title suggests, referred to the Duelling Club Captain for the Slytherin house.[2]
Biography[]
Early life[]
The boy came to be educated at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was Sorted into Slytherin House. His Head of House was Professor Severus Snape, the Potions Master and later Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, and he shared a dormitory with four other boys in his year in the Slytherin Dungeon. He apparently excelled at Defence Against the Dark Arts and/or Duelling.[2]
1996–1997 school year[]
The boy became the Slytherin Duelling Club Captain in 1996, when the Duelling Club was revived by Albus Dumbledore to prepare the students in case the school was attacked by Death Eaters. He challenged Harry Potter to a Duel and taunted him by saying that he did not know the Full Body-Bind Curse (Petrificus Totalus), which Harry proceeded to use to defeat him.[2]
Magical abilities and skills[]
- Duelling: As the head of the Slytherin Duelling Club, this student was a highly talented duellist, who was skilled with the casting of the Stunning Spell, Disarming Charm, Shield Charm, Levicorpus and the Full Body-Bind Curse in combat, meaning he was very proficient with martial magic.[2]
