Page was the surname of a Muggle family who had known half-blood and Squib members in the 21st century.
History[]
In the 1990s, Grant Page was a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and played on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team.[1]
In around the 1990s to early 2000s, a Muggle in the Page family married a witch named Kaleena and they had three children, two sons and a daughter. Daniel Page was the youngest, and the elder son Reggie and the daughter Esme were Squibs. The children attended a Muggle primary school.[2]
Gorman Page was involved in illicit activities, which Reggie was eventually persuaded to take part in too. They were eventually caught and arrested by the Muggle police. Daniel's mother tried to help protected them by using magic, causing her to end up scaring the Muggles. Reggie and his father were sentenced to a Muggle prison. Daniel's mother had violated the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy and she was put in the custody of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. At her trial in a wizarding court of law, she was accused and allegedly found guilty of being a member of the Nocturnal Order of Tricks and Exhibitions (despite there being no official evidence to back this up) and sentenced to Azkaban.[2]
The story was covered by a Muggle newspaper, which dubbed them "The Bloody Pages". Daniel was now in the care of his older sister, and found school to be anything but fun. He was delighted to be accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, because few witches and wizards would have seen a Muggle newspaper and would know who he was.[2]
