A chipolata is a type of fresh sausage believed to have originated in France. Chipolatas have become popular in Great Britain, where they are often served at Christmas dinner, wrapped in bacon.[3]
History[]
Chipolatas were a part of the Christmas feast at Hogwarts.[1] In the feast in 1986, Molly Weasley particularly praised them to be quite good.[4] Albus Dumbledore seemed especially fond of them, and, at the Christmas feast in 1993, he offered some to a first-year student named Derek.[2]
