A Personal Trait is a unique ability granted to both players and NPCs in Lucid Adventure and it's successor, Earth Game.
Players[]
For players, it is a skill randomly given at character creation. It is a trait given regardless of classes or tribes.[1] For example, magicians normally can't use bows because they are low in dexterity, but if their Personal Trait is dexterity, it allows them to be magicians that can use bows.[1] For characters that have martial arts skill as their personal trait, they can become daunting healers that fight and heals at the same time.[1]
It is decided by 'The System' based on the user's life.[2] It is a manifestation of the person's karma from their life and their unconsciousness.[2] The Han family was an exception. Unlike what Han Gun-Jae intended, 'The System' recognized Han Gun-Jae's bloodline and granted them each special abilities.[2]
Personal Trait Types []
Original Types[]
Originally, all Personal Traits were categorized into Four Tiers. Currently of all named Personal Traits, only Hardcore Leveling Warrior's 'Absolute Luck', which gives improbable Luck, Assistant Managerpark 38's original Personal Trait Agriculture-Related Skill, which presumably grants him farming skills, Han Sung-Gong's Oedipus and Cave's Hustler have an undetermined Type.
- Tier 3 - Skill/Stat Type - Skill Types are granted a unique skill. Stat Type increases the players stats. Players With Skill/Stat Types can find out theirs in the beginning, when they start to fight. It's better for them to choose the class that matches their increased stats and skill.[3]
- Tier 2 - Class Type - allows players to get an extra Class but a hidden condition must be met in order for this to happen. The player needs to reach Level 40 to know this.[3]
- Tier 1 - Person Type - It is a type were a a particular person (or object) such as a great person, a celebrity or a hero in a myth becomes a class. This trait allows the user to create his/her own original skill. Unlike other Personal Traits, players with Person type Personal Traits can create their own skills. The player needs to reach Level 40 to know this.[1]
- Tier 0 - Transcendental Skill Type - This is a type of Personal Trait that Transcends the Laws of the game. Very few few players have this and little is known about this type.[1]It turns out that all the family members have transcendental abilities as they are descendants of Roy Han, the creator of Lucid Adventure.
New Types[]
These are the new personal trait types that appeared after the death of the Gods.
- Monster Trait Type - The newest personal trait type to appear after the death of the Gods. It allows users to have traits of the monsters in Lucid Adventure.[4]
Personal Trait True Release[]
- Main Article: Personal Trait True Release
Personal Trait True Release occurs when a character awakens the true form of their Personal Trait, leading to an exponential increase in their combat power.
Personal Trait Specialised Weapons[]
It appears that some Personal Traits have specialised Weapons such as Zhang Fei's '1.8 Zhang Long Steel Spear'[5] and The Best Swordsman's The Song of the Sword.[6]
NPCs[]
Demons[]
The Demons personal trait is a bit different to that of The Knights, but the they have also used the great power in a similar way. They use the fragments of the now sealed Demon King. The fragments of the Demon King bestowed various powers possessed by the Demon King to the demons, and with that power, the demons sought to eradicate humankind.[7]

The Knights[]
A personal trait is a power granted to knights by the power of the Chivalric Code. A personal trait overwrites a transcendental ability over the powers that a knight possesses, aside from their unique powers. To Combat the demons. the First Grand Master created the Chivalric Code. Through the Chivalric Code, the powers of all the knights who used to be a part of the Chivalric Code was amassed and passed on from generation to generation. So the Chivalric Code, a collection of the mana of the Knights that gathered, bestows a special power to The Knights similar to the flesh of the Demon King, and that is a personal trait.[7]

Notes & Trivia[]
- Personal Traits were first mentioned by Hardcore Leveling Warrior in Hardcore Leveling Warrior Season 1 Episode 13 and then explained in Hardcore Leveling Warrior Season 1 Episode 22 by Heart Heater. The Appendix about Personal traits in Hardcore Leveling Warrior Season 1 Episode 22 breaks down the categories in more details.
- So far in the series, Zhang Fei and The Best Swordsman are the only characters revealed to have Personal Trait Specialized Weapons. These weapons seem to be restricted to only Person Types but this is unconfirmed.
- Personal Traits are not restricted to players. There are a few NPCs that have been shown to use personal traits:
- Heart Heater: During the final of the Martial Arts Combat Round, Heart Heater was shown to have a personal trait in his character info box.[9]
- The Nightmare Players are the Nightmare versions of players themselves so can use their own versions of the players personal traits, with some even showing far more power than their original counterparts. No Name is still the only Nightmare that has been shown using the exact personal trait of a player and it is later revealed in Hardcore Leveling Warrior Season 2 Episode 113 that she is a doll comprised of Armes' soul.
- Each Person Type and Transcendental Types are exclusive to a single player unlike Stat Types, Class Types, and Skill Types where there can be multiple players of the same personal trait.
