The Irish American Killers, also referred to as the Irish Killers, are a gang that appears in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
Description[]
They are a small Irish-American street gang operating in Steinway and East Island City, Dukes. As pointed out by their gang territories, they were originally associates of the McReary Crime Family that reemerged as a complete different gang in 2009 after the McReary family's decline and the McReary brothers disbanded. The status of their leadership during the events of the game is unknown.
In the Drug Dealing minigame, they sell Acid and buy Ecstasy through their only known drug dealer, Liam, across the street from Steinway Beer Garden. Members can be seen driving green and orange roofed Bobcats and Burritos (which also have ladders). They also carry Micro SMGs. Their favorite radio stations are Deadmau5 and Alchemist.
In certain missions, they can be seen driving sports cars in the background while being chased by the LCPD.
Events of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]
In 2009, Triad underboss Chan Jaoming wins a race against a group of Irish street racers with the help of Huang Lee ramming Chan's opponents off the road. The Irish killers eventually realize Chan cheated in the race and kidnap him in his own car. He is taken to the docks in BOABO and his car is set on fire by the Irish killers with Chan trapped inside. Huang manages to find a Fire Truck nearby and use it to put out the flames, before driving Chan back to his garage with a group of armed Irish gangsters chasing him down.
After Huang attacks the former Triad associate gang, the Korean Midtown Gangsters, in search of information on his father's killer and the stolen Yu Jian Sword, the Koreans lose their protection racket at a construction site in Castle Garden City, making way for the Irish Killers to move in. As Zhou Ming used to receive a cut from the Koreans' profits and the Irish Killers refused to give him a cut, he sends Huang Lee to burn their construction supplies.
