Accreditation
ABET Accreditation
Accreditation of engineering programs is important to show that programs meet requirements for quality and content according to their discipline. Accreditation also ensures that programs produce graduates prepared to meet the expectations of employers and the public, or to pursue further study in engineering or other fields.
Computing, engineering, applied and natural science, and engineering technology programs are accredited by ABET, http://www.abet.org/. The degree programs listed below are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission or the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, who in conjunction with the various professional societies develop the criteria for accrediting the programs.
