Align your right eye's line of sight and your thumb to the left side of the target, and your left eye to the right side of the target, and multiply the distance between the two sides by the right multiplier... You can use this trick to estimate the height of a mountain and whether it's climbable, or the width of a river and whether you can swim across.

He taught me to think on my feet and avoid engaging enemies at close combat to make up for my small stature and relative lack of stamina.
