Leschots Clockwork Shop, also simply called Leschots's workshop, is run by Livre, who creates mechanical clockwork toys. Alberre and Arbon are employees of the workshop,^[1] while Freminet has been commissioned to create toy designs.^[2]

Livre maintains a rivalry with his younger brother, Caron, who owns Lepaute Horlogerie and dabbles into making clockwork toys as a side gig from his usual business of designing clocks.^[1]

Etymology[]

The workshop may take its name from various Swiss watchmakers and mechanists named Leschot.
- Jean-Frédéric Leschot was the protégé of Pierre Jaquet-Droz, who together with Jaquet-Droz's son Henri-Louis produced numerous watches, automata and other mechanisms; such as the three Jaquet-Droz automata.
