You might’ve missed it, but DEV organized their very first Web Game Challenge in September, with the results being announced at the beginning of October.
There were two separate categories, one to Build a Web Game and the second to write One Byte Explainer. The winners were Justin Young with his game Alien Waves (made with Excalibur) and Hikolakita with his explainer Event Listeners.
If you’re curious about more details, and want to know the two extra honorable mentions, then check out my blog post about it.
