Trivia[]
- Reportedly, this two-parter (which was originally shown as a one-hour episode) was not intended to be a series-ending episode, but NBC decided not to renew for another season when there were talks of defecting to another network. However, Will Smith announced that season six would be his last if the show was to move to one of the two ongoing upstarts (UPN or the WB); in addition, Joseph Marcell was either in or would be returning to West London, England, so he decided this season would be his last, and eventually, the rest of the cast followed suit.
- In 2004, Will Smith starred as the lead in the movie "I, Robot", based on the novel by the same name. It is reported that in the early stages of the movies production Will Smith was chosen to be the star based on multiple criteria, one of the minor ones being the Easter egg of some of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" episodes having similar names, such as "I, Done".
- Will has the last line of the series: I'm definitely gonna miss you C.
- This is the last appearances of Will, Carlton, Hilary, Philip, Vivian, Ashley, Nicky, Geoffrey and Jazz in the series.
- This is also the second and final appearances of both George Jefferson and Louise Jefferson since their show ended and they previously appeared in Will Is From Mars. Florence from The Jefferson also appears in this episode.
- Mr. Drummond and Arnold Jackson from Different Strokes appears in this episode for the first time since 1986 when their show ended and it's their last on-screen appearances. Willis from Diff'rent Strokes is even mentioned by Arnold and he says his catchphrase for the first time since season 7 of Diff'rent Strokes.
- The appearances by George, Louis, Florence, Mr. Drummond and Arnold means that Diff'rent Strokes, The Facts of Life, Hello, Larry, Silver Spoons, The Jeffersons, All in the Family, Maude, Good Times, Archie Bunker's Place, Checking In, Gloria and 704 Hauser all share the same universe as The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
- In The House, Out All Night and Blossom also exist in the same universe since Hilary appears in the Out All Night episode "The Great Pretender" and Blossom episode "Wake Up Little Suzy", while Carlton and Ashley both appear in the In the House episode "Dog Catchers".
- This is the only episode where Geoffrey address Will by his name instead of Master Williams.
- Goof: It is indicated that Ashley is not supposed to drink champagne, however all the adults have their own glasses meaning Geoffrey prepared a glass for Ashley even though she is underage.
- Goof: In part 1 Jazz wears regular glasses when he enters the house but is wearing his trademark shades in the shot of him getting thrown out.
- Goof: During the birthday party the forks on the hassock change position between shots.
- Goof: When Will is viewing the apartment with Mr. Clark, you can clearly see that the view from the window (sunset, palm trees) is actually a backdrop as the floor of the studio is visible outside the window.
- Goof: Arnold and Mr. Drummond shouldn't have been able to appear in this episode since during the episode Just Infatuation Carlton mentions that he used to have a crush on Tootie from Facts of Life which is a spinoff of Diff'rent Strokes.
