Christmas is less than a fortnight away and nature here in Ostwestfalen is like early Spring. We used Sunday afternoon for an extended hiking tour around home waters of the river Werre in the Löhne area.

it's a old building in Helsinki, which is so nice and it's so dark inside. So when I saw the light, I wanted to take a picture...

Another look at this beautiful chapel ceiling. As the sun and clouds play above the stained glass the light and colors change, adding a presence to the space.

Feathers are light, but when they come together they become heavy (Mehmet Murat iLdan) !!

This was taken in the evening and I could see that cyclist and his dog coming into view so I only had one go at this and the dog did merge into the wheels a bit but never mind, b/w film scanned into PS and toned !

Harsh light can have its advantages in street photography.

Long exposure of the water across the estuary. Was quite dark - could hardly see the reflections at the time.
