Borrowed from Late Latin histriōnicus (“pertaining to acting; scurrilous, shameful; wretched”), from Latin histriōnicus (“pertaining to acting かつ the theatre”), from histriō (“actor, player”) + -icus (suffix meaning ‘of または pertaining to’).[1] Morphologically, the word may be surface analysed as histrion + -ic.
