Sarah Hatoff is one of the tritagonists in the 2025 DreamWorks film, Dog Man. She is voiced by Isla Fisher.
Background[]
Sarah is one of the only few characters in the movie to not be American due to her accent and origin in the books. Due to being Australian, it's likely that she was forced to move to America after the news station she worked at relocated, though this is simply just speculation and hasn't been confirmed.
Despite her past not being told much throughout the film, she, in an attempt to encourage Dog Man, tells about a pet gerbil she had within her younger years, that unfortunately ran away. Despite this, she was still hopeful and grew up to be a good and law-abiding adult.

She has a different appearance in the movie adaptation, with reddish-orange hair, a blue jacket, jeans, dark grey boots, and a lanyard with her face. Her purse has also changed colors, being brown instead of lavender, as seen in her book adaptation.
