Trivia[]
- In the first series Riders/Defenders of Berk, the main characters, known as the “Dragon Riders”, are all 14-15 years of age. In the second series Race to the Edge, they are 18-19 years of age. Their character designs between the two series’ reflect the age differences.
- While remaining wildly popular among younger viewers, Race to the Edge is notably the most controversial media in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise due to its many continuity errors and disregard for the films it’s meant to spin off of.
