This is a list of characters found throughout the entire duration of the Dog Man and Cat Kid Comic Club book series. These characters consist of many species, such as humans and anthropomorphic animals.
Common characters include Dog Man, the titular main protagonist who was created due to the sheer brilliance of another character, Genie S. Lady-Bailey. Another important character is Petey, the former world's evilest cat and currently one of the two deuteragonists of the series, alongside another character, his son Li'l Petey. There are also a lot more characters, such as Chief Clarence Bailey, the boss of the Cops and one of the three tritagonists of the series, alongside two other characters, Sarah Hatoff and 80-HD. While these characters are the protagonists of the series, there are also some antagonists, such as Piggy, Petey's childhood friend now wanting revenge on him for shutting down the Critter Scouts. Another antagonist is a green skinned scientist of whom almost no one knows about: Dr. Scum. Another antagonist worth mentioning is Grampa, Petey's long-lost father who currently serves as the world's evilest cat.
Li'l Petey also started his own comic club called "Cat Kid Comic Club". He became the founder and president of his own group, together with vice president Molly, prisoner-turned-good father Flippy, and his adoptive 21 baby frogs. They live in a camper van near the lake where the sessions are held to learn and showcase their artistic talents in various art styles from their comics. Their creative minds also inspired new comic characters such as Supa Fail, Chubbs McSpiderbutt, and the Baby Frog Squad to name a few.
All in all, these characters are a major importance to the story and deserve recognition using this category.
