Tiana's Palace is a counter service restaurant located at the New Orleans Square area at Disneyland. The restaurant, which was opened on September 7, 2023, replaced French Market Restaurant after its closure earlier that year.

Summary

Tiana's Palace was announced in January 2023 as part of a larger project to retheme New Orleans Square with elements from The Princess and the Frog. The project also included a new attraction, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, replaced Splash Mountain in 2024. The restaurant is a reimagining of the French Market Restaurant, which opened in 1966 and closed in February 2023 for the transformation. Disney Imagineers collaborated with Disney Animation artists from the original film to design the restaurant, which is based on Tiana's dream restaurant from the movie. The restaurant received its marquee, wheelhouse, and two smokestacks in July 2023, giving it a distinctive shape inspired by the film.

Tiana's Palace is the first Disney restaurant to be themed after a specific Disney princess. It is also the first Disney restaurant to celebrate African American culture and cuisine. The restaurant aims to honor Tiana's story of hard work, perseverance, and love, as well as the rich history and diversity of New Orleans. Tiana's Palace also has occasional performances from the Jambalaya Jazz Band (and Tiana sometimes) as well as allowing guests to meet Tiana and her friends.
