The Simpsons: When Billie Met Lisa is a Disney+ short. It premiered on April 22, 2022.
The Simpsons short focuses on Lisa Simpson, as she is discovered by chart-topping artists Billie Eilish and FINNEAS while searching for a quiet place to practice her saxophone. Billie invites Lisa to her studio for a special jam session she’ll never forget.[1]
Plot[]
While playing her saxophone, Lisa Simpson receives a text from her father Homer, interrupting her saxophone practice. Marge then passes by Lisa who is playing her saxophone, which Marge unawarely places the vacuum on Lisa's saxophone, interrupting her practice. Lisa then practices her saxophone at the treehouse while her brother Bart prepares to chop down the tree with a chainsaw which Lisa escapes. Lisa then finds herself at a studio where she encounters a group of children practicing at another room with a sign reading "Welcome kids who can't practice at home", much to Lisa feeling overwhelmed. Below a bridge, Billie Eilish and FINNEAS approach Lisa below a dry river who are impressed of Lisa playing her saxophone just as Billie gives Lisa an opportunity to go to her studio to practice jamming with her which Lisa agrees.
Billie Eilish then takes Lisa to a music studio where Billie tells the orchestra planning to replace them, which the conductor and the musicians leave the studio as Billie tells Lisa of what to do when using her saxophone while Bart discusses with FINNEAS about spending his whole life helping his sister Billie which FINNEAS denies. As Billie Eilish reads over the sheet music for the Simpsons theme song, she then sings the theme song's tune with FINNEAS serving as the guitarist and Lisa playing her saxophone, where the music spreads past Selma and Patty Bouvier, Marge, Homer, the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Grampa Simpson and a group of elderly people, a Blinky, Steamboat Itchy, Groundskeeper Willie, Kang and Kodos, Dr. Hibbert, and Moe's Tavern where Moe and a group of patrons stop fighting just before looping back to Lisa, Billie Eilish, and FINNEAS finishing their song. After the song, Billie Eilish tells Lisa to know if her father Homer is supportive of her which Billie thinks he isn't even when telling him to be in another room.

- At the end of the short, one of the still images features Disney characters such as Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Cinderella from the film of the same name, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum from Alice in Wonderland can be seen dancing with, Homer, Marge, Bart, and Selma and Patty respectively with Lisa, Billie Eilish, and FINNEAS performing on stage together.
- The chalkboard gag seen being written by FINNEAS during the credits reads, "I will learn to prank with my sister", presumably what FINNEAS was referring to while writing the chalkboard gag is Billie Eilish.
- As of 2023, this remains the last Simpsons short to have 20th Century Studios listed as the copyright holder on the poster, with Disney being listed instead for future shorts.
