Sheep Dog is an animated short starring Pluto. The plotline of the cartoon short is a parody of the fairy tale The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids by the Brothers Grimm, which is in turn based on Aesop's fable "The Dog and the Sheep".
The title is a play on the breed of dogs of the same name which have historically been used in connection with the raising of sheep.
Synopsis[]
Sheep dog Pluto protects his sheep against ever-hungry coyotes. Bent-Tail disguises his son as a lamb to secretly get his prey.
