Only Murders in the Building is an American mystery, comedy-drama that premiered on August 31, 2021 on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally. The second season premiered on June 28, 2022, the third season premiered on August 8, 2023, and the fourth season premiered on August 27, 2024.
Synopsis[]
The series focuses on washed up television actor Charles-Haden Savage, struggling theater director Oliver Putnam, and young artist, Mabel Mora who takes up residence in the prestigious apartment complex known as the Arconia. After the murder of their neighbor Tim Kono, the trio become suspicious and start a podcast that chronicles their attempt to solve the murder, despite their incompetence and personal struggles.
In Season Two, the trio's landlord, Bunny Folger, is murdered with the three of them as the primary suspects. They quickly prove their innocence, but set out to find the real murderer.
In Season Three, Charles successfully returns to acting, only for his co-star, Ben Glenroy, to suddenly die onstage, forcing him, Oliver and Mable into another web of lies.
In season four, Charles' friend and stunt double Sazz Pataki is murdered. While solving the mystery, the gang must also contend with a film adaptation of their podcast, the egos involved in its production, and the strange "Westies" that live on the other side of the building.
In season five, the Arconia's friendly doorman Lester is murdered in a fountain, whose death may have ties to the disappearance of Nicky "The Neck" Caccimelio, and the history of the Arconia itself.
