"Last Horizons" is the thirty-second episode of The Disney Afternoon animated series, TaleSpin. It premiered on November 1, 1990.

Plot[]

Baloo finds the legendary Panda-La, a mystical place, where he is warmly received by Emperor Wan Lo.

The reception, however, turns out to be a ruse, as Panda-La's inhabitants plan to attack Cape Suzette.

Cast[]

Trivia[]

  • This episode was banned from reruns because of its satirization of World War II and the stereotyping of Asians. It occasionally reran on Toon Disney, the last time being in December 2002. It is not available on Disney+ along with Flying Dupes (even thought it was released on DVD in 2007).
    • It satirizes Asians (Japanese) where Wan Lo (Japanese Emperor) later plans to launch an all air attack against Cape Suzette (American) referencing Pearl Harbor.
    • The difference is the Sea Duck (Real life inspired American-Made) is the only aircraft to defeat the entire Panda-La fleet.
