Gorr the God Butcher is a Marvel Comics character, a vengeful galactic killer, who seeks the extinction of all the gods. He made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Thor: Love and Thunder as the main antagonist, portrayed by Christian Bale.

How Gorr became the God Butcher first started when his planet is dying from heat and has lack of food and water, and his daughter is dying. So, he prayed to their god, Rapu, but his god rejected him, as he turned on his follower. Lurking in the shadow is the Necrosword. As he grabbed the sword, it cursed him. Before he beheaded his first god, he made a vow; to kill all gods.

- Due to Knull appearing in the Sonyverse movie Venom: The Last Dance, he is removed from Gorr's backstory in the MCU.
